Ultimate Sausage Pizza Dip
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
- 1/2 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 1/2 cup Italian cheese blend, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 jar (14 ounces) pizza sauce
- 1 cup mini pepperoni
- 1-2 loaves bread for dipping

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and break it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain most of the excess fat. Reduce heat to medium, push sausage to the side, and cook the chopped onion and garlic in the center until tender. Stir everything together and remove from heat.

In a bowl, combine the sausage mixture with the cream cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella, 3/4 cup Italian cheese blend, and oregano. Spread evenly into a 10×8-inch baking dish.
