The cinnamon butter tortilla chips are equally easy to make. For the chips you need:

  • tortillas
  • butter
  • sugar
  • cinnamon

If you prefer convenience, store-bought chips are an option, but homemade cinnamon butter tortilla chips deliver a superior flavor and are fun to prepare. The buttery, cinnamon-sugar coating complements the bright fruit salsa perfectly.

Substitutions and variations

For a lighter alternative or to add texture, serve the salsa with crunchy slices of fresh summer vegetables such as zucchini, summer squash, or cucumbers instead of—or alongside—the tortilla chips. You can also tailor the fruit mix to what’s ripe and available.
