Smoked Turkey and Avocado Wrap Recipe for Quick Lunches

The avocado-cilantro mix used in these smoked turkey avocado wraps transforms a simple sandwich into something special. For me, the secret to a great wrap is a good-quality cheese, a bright, spicy spread (hot mayonnaise or this avocado-cilantro mixture both work beautifully), and crisp, fresh lettuce.

Spice It Up

If you want a smoky heat, substitute a chopped chipotle pepper in adobo for the hot sauce. Add a bit of the adobo sauce to the avocado mixture for extra depth. Smoked jalapeños also work well—they add a subtle smokiness and gentle heat. The wraps are delicious as written, but a little spice will elevate the flavors even more.

Also try my avocado wraps with spicy mayonnaise for a different take using the same core ingredients.
