One tube of refrigerated biscuits yields 16 stuffed biscuits. Each biscuit separates into two thin layers, is flattened, filled with a spoonful of the apple mixture, then pinched closed to form a sealed ball. They air fry in about 12 minutes total, though times may vary by air fryer model. Once cooked, the biscuits are brushed with melted butter and rolled in cinnamon sugar for a crisp, sweet finish.

AIR FRYER APPLE PIE STUFFED BISCUITS RECIPE TIPS:

  • Seal the biscuit edges tightly so the apple filling does not leak during cooking.
  • Pillsbury Grands refrigerated biscuits work well — either Southern Homestyle or Flaky Layers.
  • You won’t use the entire can of apple pie filling. Save leftovers to top ice cream, oatmeal, or pancakes.
  • Give each stuffed biscuit room in the air fryer basket; they expand while cooking and can stick together if crowded.
  • Depending on your air fryer size, cook 6 to 8 at a time for even results.
  • Serve best within a few hours. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer for best texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1 can Grands flaky refrigerated biscuits
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the apple pie filling with 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Chop the apple slices into smaller pieces with a knife for easier filling.
  2. Separate each biscuit into two layers. Flatten each layer with your hands or a rolling pin.
  3. Place about 1 heaping tablespoon of the apple mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit piece.
  4. Pull the edges of the biscuit up and over the filling, pinching firmly to seal each one into a ball.
  5. Place a parchment liner in the air fryer basket. Arrange about 6 biscuits seam-side down in the basket, leaving space between them. Lightly spray with oil.
  6. Air fry at 325°F (about 160°C) for 8 minutes. Flip each biscuit and air fry for an additional 3–4 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  7. While they cook, combine 3/4 cup granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon in a small bowl.
  8. Dip each hot biscuit in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
  9. Repeat with remaining biscuits and serve warm.
