Energizing Ginger Green Smoothie Recipe for Morning Boost

My Ginger Boost Smoothie is a bright, flavorful way to begin the day. The fresh ginger gives the drink a pleasant kick while also supporting digestion.

Combine the fruit, leafy greens and coconut water, then blend until smooth. The ginger soothes the stomach and adds a lively warmth that complements the fruit. This is a wholesome choice: it contains natural fruit sugars, but is packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

I often set out to make a mocktail and end up with a smoothie instead — I can’t resist using plenty of fresh fruit and greens. Smoothies are quick, versatile and a great way to get nutrients into your morning.

Ginger Boost Smoothie Benefits

This simple boost smoothie includes:

  • Ginger to aid digestion and add warmth,
  • Blueberries for antioxidants,
  • Spinach, rich in vitamins and minerals such as vitamin K, A and C, folate, manganese and iron,
  • Raspberries for vitamin C and antioxidants,
  • Coconut water, a low-calorie, potassium-rich hydration option that’s naturally fat- and cholesterol-free.

After drinking a glass of this smoothie for a few days, I felt more alert and less hungry between meals. It’s an affordable, satisfying option that my body responded well to. The ginger gives the drink a pleasant punch while also supporting digestion. I used innocent coconut water, which was less sweet than some other brands and allowed the fruit flavors to shine through.
