Skier’s Breakfast Burrito from Beaumont Bakery

On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve a mention. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito from there and it reminded me why it belongs on this list.

What keeps me coming back to Beaumont is a combination of convenience and freshness. If you spend time recreating in the Wasatch Front—hiking, skiing, or biking—Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up beforehand. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon for a long ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While many Mexican spots offer drive-through burritos, those can be greasy and heavy; Beaumont’s feels cleaner and more balanced, which matters when you’re heading straight into physical activity.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. But what truly elevates it is the sauce. A great breakfast burrito hinges on its sauce, and Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo escabeche dressing adds a bright, tangy richness that pulls all the flavors together.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a standout breakfast burrito. Their coffee and pastries are excellent, and the burrata salad is a favorite of mine for a lighter lunch. The space is attractive, with a pleasant patio and a thoughtfully designed interior, making it a nice spot to linger when time allows.

A quick note about timing: good food draws a crowd, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends can be busy, with people waiting outside. If you’re just grabbing coffee and pastries, the line moves fast and the drive-through is convenient. If you plan to sit down, especially on a weekend, expect a short wait.

Beaumont consistently delivers fresh ingredients, approachable service, and flavors that suit an active lifestyle. Whether you need a quick pre-adventure bite or a relaxed meal on a sunny patio, it’s a reliable choice worth visiting.
